Landscapes of Iceland

I was born in 1976 and lived in Slovenia for most of my life.

In 2006 I decided to go and work abroad over the summer, choosing Iceland out of curiosity. The truly unique surroundings I was presented with upon arriving here, made me want to capture some of its beauty.

So I bought myself a digital compact camera and started shooting anything that fascinated me most.

And that was nature, being so different from anything I knew before.



After deciding to stay longer than just one summer, I wanted to improve my skills in my newly found passion.

So I started uploading my photos to a photo site, getting valuable advice about basic things like composition, framing etc. After 1 year I felt I needed more control over the process of taking photos, so I got myself a D-slr, allowing me to be more creative & trying to find my own niche. Right now I'm concentrating on waterfalls/moving water & northern lights, but I'm still looking and exploring.

I divided my gallery into 5 general groups where I'll be uploading only images I'm most proud of.
